George Marani’s story of how GCR impacted him…
George Marani is 79 years old and visited the Eden Clinic during one of GCR’s medical camps.
He said that the doctors treated him for over three years, but was not getting better. They treated pneumonia, typhoid, amoeba and other diseases but his health was getting worse. Was he fated to die? Had God abandoned him?
But, at just the right time, George heard about our medical camps, and he decided to give it a try. After listening to him share about himself, we discovered that George had a bad motorbike accident five years earlier and had injured his chest and head. We referred him to a referral hospital to take ECHO and ECG. The results showed that he suffered from Congestive Cardiac Failure.
George started attending our medical clinics and his health improved tremendously. He had lost hope because he had the wrong diagnosis for many years.
Just twenty minutes of patiently listening and asking simple questions made it possible for us to get the right diagnosis. Twenty minutes of simple love has brought hope to this old man. Twenty minutes has brought a smile to the face of this man. Twenty minutes has made this man know God. Twenty minutes of simple love made this man conclude that God knows his name and loves him.
